We’ve been looking forward to Tim and Tiffany’s wedding for a long time. Not only are they good friends of ours, their wedding was originally planned for the previous year, so there was a lot of excitement and anticipation in the air at The Oaks at Plum Creek in Castle Rock, CO when the big day finally arrived.
We are at The Oaks quite often and are thankful because they are one of our favorite venues in Colorado! This must-see venue provided the perfect backdrop for Tim and Tiffany’s special day and Beau with Blue Spruce Wedding Photography did a phenomenal job capturing all the beautiful memories seen here!
CEREMONY
The evening started off with an outdoor ceremony that went perfectly thanks to the rehearsal and coordination efforts of Janae the Venue’s General Manager. The space was particularly beautiful, with the sun peaking out and views for miles as the couple exchanged their vows.
RECEPTION
More than anything, Tim and Tiffany wanted to throw an epic party for their friends and family to enjoy! From classic hits, to club bangers, we had the dance floor packed all night long. We also honored Tim’s Mexican heritage by including “La Marcha”, a traditional Mexican March that is a ton of fun! At the end of the night we got several compliments about how their wedding was the best they’ve ever attended!
PHOTO BOOTH
To add to the entertainment, we brought our Photo Booth and gave guests a cute way to leave messages for the couple with our Photo Booth guestbook. Looking at the gallery afterwards, it was clear that everyone was having a great time, and the resulting guestbook will be a cherished memento for Tim and Tiffany for years to come.
UPLIGHTING
Another standout feature of the wedding was the gorgeous uplighting we provided. The Oaks at Plum Creek is a beautiful venue on its own, but uplighting really gives their ballroom a magical ambiance, while adding dynamic lighting in for open dancing in the art deco bar room.
DINNER, DRINKS & DESSERT
No wedding would be complete without the 4 D’s: dinner, drinks, dessert, and dancing! We already covered dancing, so let’s talk about the rest!
The food at The Oaks is legendary and their bar staff is always prompt and on point. While there are plenty of venues/caterers that help us stick to our diet, their chef’s “to die for” food causes us to gain back several pounds every wedding season! Throughout the night, we overheard a number of guests talking about how incredible the food was.
To top it all off, Tim and Tiffany called on Polar Bros. Nitro Ice Cream Bar to provide dessert for everyone. This was our first experience with them and hopefully not our last! They had the coolest setup and made a variety of delectable ice creams on the spot!
Tim and Tiffany’s wedding at was an unforgettable experience that many will talk about for years to come. It was truly an honor serving our good friends and we wish them a lifetime of love and happiness.
